Michael Boone, one of barrel racing’s all-time leading owners, passed away June 1 while working at his home in Tyrone, Pennsylvania. He was 59. Barrel Horse News pays tribute to Boone’s life and legacy through a collection of past conversations and interviews over the years.This year his fiance, Kassie Mowry had a goal to qualify his 2018 gelding Force The Goodbye to the Wrangler NFR again and so far Mowry and “Jarvis” have earned $130,622 at this year’s NFR.
