Two Teenagers Killed and Three Injured in Shooting at Houston Pop-Up Party.

A pop-up party at a makeshift club turned deadly Saturday night, when gunfire erupted, leaving two teenagers dead and three others injured. The tragic incident occurred around 11:20 p.m. in the 10100 block of Jensen Drive. According to Assistant Police Chief Luis Menendez-Sierra, Houston Police Department officers responded to reports of shots fired. Upon arrival, they found chaos as a large crowd fled.

A 16-year-old boy was pronounced dead at the scene, while A’zirya Jones, a 16-year-old girl, was rushed to a hospital but later died. Three more victims were injured: a 13-year-old girl in critical condition, a 19-year-old woman with non-life-threatening injuries who sought help at a hospital, and a fifth victim whose details are not yet known.

The suspect fled before police arrived, and authorities have not identified the shooter or any suspect vehicle. The motive remains unclear as investigators work to gather evidence.

This horrific event has shaken the community, with police calling for anyone with information to contact their homicide division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS (8477). “This senseless violence cost two young lives and injured others who were simply trying to enjoy a social gathering,” said Assistant Chief Menendez-Sierra.

The Houston Police Department continues to investigate actively, determined to bring the perpetrator to justice. Our thoughts are with the victims’ families. Further updates will be provided as the investigation unfolds.
