Samantha Rupnow Madison WI shooter identified as trans, Abundant Life Christian School student and Jeff Rupnow’s daughter

The suspect in the Abundant Life Christian School mass shooting has been identified as 17-year-old Samantha Rupnow, a student of the school and daughter of Jeff Rupnow. According to sources, Sam was born female but was transitioning to male with an intended name “Brad Rupnow.”

Madison Police Chief Shon Barnes stated early Monday afternoon that three people were killed, including one teenager, in a school shooting at Madison Abundant Life Christian School. According to police, a suspect who is a student at the school was among the dead. At least six other persons were hurt. Police stated their injuries ranged from minor to life-threatening.

Madison Wisconsin Victims Identified

Abundant Life Christian School victims have been identified as a teacher and a teenage student of the school. Madison Police admitted in a Facebook post that they had incorrectly recorded the number of deaths and injuries. They made the following correction: The incident occurred soon before 11 a.m. at the school at 4901 East Buckeye Road. Madison Police Chief Shone Barnes says the juvenile suspect committed suicide. Roads around the 4900 block of Buckeye Road will be closed as law enforcement investigates. A family member claimed she was bullied at the school.

The suspect identified as 17-year-old Samantha Rupnow, was found dead from an apparent suicide after shooting and killing one of the school teachers and a student. According to ALCS’ website, the school serves approximately 200 families. The 28-acre campus serves kindergarten through 12th grade. State Superintendent Dr. Jill Underly released the following statement regarding a school shooting today at Abundant Life Christian School.
