A shooting at the Amazon Warehouse in Greenfield, Indiana, has left one man dead and another in custody. Hancock County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the scene at 12:45 AM on December 13th, 2024, after receiving reports of a person shot. When they arrived at the warehouse at 7114 West 200 North, officers found one male victim, Isaac Riley, 39, of Indianapolis, deceased in the parking lot. Nearby, a second male was found with his hands raised, ready to surrender to authorities.
Law enforcement acted swiftly to secure the suspected shooter, taking him into custody without resistance. According to the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office, there is no ongoing threat to the public. The incident appears to be an isolated dispute between the two individuals involved, and preliminary information suggests the shooting could have been in self-defense.
The deceased victim, Isaac Riley, had his family notified of his passing. Authorities are working closely with the Hancock County Prosecutor’s Office and local detectives to continue the investigation into the events that led to the fatal shooting.
